Manglam is a textile export house based in India, specialising in high-quality Silk, Cotton, and Linen fabrics. With decades of experience and an in-house dyeing, printing, and processing facility, we deliver solid dyed, printed, and embroidered fabrics crafted for global menswear and womenswear markets.
We are proud to supply internationally certified fabrics compliant with GOTS, OEKOTEX, and REACH standards. From basic weaves to premium finishes like wrinkle-free, fire-retardant, stain-resistant, and antibacterial, our fabrics are trusted by sourcing managers and fashion brands around the world. Every meter we produce reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and timeless textile craftsmanship.
Our History
Our journey began in 1897, during the undivided era of Hindustan, as a traditional silk and saree manufacturer catering to Indian communities across Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Trinidad, Tobago, and other international regions. Over generations, we evolved with purpose, adapting our craft for a global audience while staying rooted in the legacy of Benaras.
In 1986, we diversified into international garment fabrics, working closely with exporters in Calcutta, Delhi, and Bombay. The transition wasn’t easy—bringing traditional methods in line with industrial standards was a challenge. But we embraced each difficulty as an opportunity, transforming problems into catalysts for innovation.
By 1994, we began exporting directly to Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe’s high-fashion markets, marking our global footprint. Over the years, our collection expanded to include Cotton Voile (1998), Silk scarves and couture embroidery (2000), and garment manufacturing (2006-07) for both silk and cotton.
With a strategic transformation, the company evolved from Manglam to Manglam Overseas, Manglam Exports, and ultimately Manglam Intertex Ltd—each change making us more aligned with the aspirations of our international clientele.
In 2010, we established Manglam Fab Processors Pvt. Ltd., a dedicated dyeing, printing, and processing unit built with support from a Japanese consultant. Today, we meet global compliance standards including GOTS, REACH, and OEKO-TEX, while ensuring positive water balance and sustainable processes.
